The waves crash against the shore. The blue vastness spreads into what looks like infinity. Sand squishes between my toes as I admire the beautiful view from the beach. The white seagulls speckle the light blue sky, and they look like the clouds that are nonexistent in the sky. We'll come to the beach sometime together...we'll make a trip of it. We can pack a picnic with sandwiches and juice. Would you like me to bring apple juice or orange juice? Actually, maybe something tropical like pineapple juice.

ReplyDeleteThe ugly muddy water splashes against the wall. The kelp is stuck upon the vast grey beach. Walking down the beach i feel the pinches of sharp rocks and litter. i look at you and you are having such a good time, oh do i miss those care free days. You run up and ask if we can stay here forever, i think to myself i wish for your sake you can. i whisper back i love you child.

The fishing boat glides across the water, pushing waves out of the way as it leaves the marina. Blue water, clear as glass surrounds me. High wind creates mist that trickles my skin. Salt water aroma fills the air, I am in paradise. You wave to me from the dock waiting for me to return, but little do you know, I won't be back. I wish we could be together forever.

Blue jellyfish wash up on the shore, if they are dead or alive, one cannot tell. Wind blows sand violently, and it hits the back of my calves, worn and tired for the long dies and short nights. I see your face, lit up as you watch fireworks dance over the water. You see me too, but you must know I cannot stay, and you are unfamiliar with my worn skin. Sunlight dances on the water, as I wake up on the beach, a mixture of colors appearing from an early sunrise.

Chaos is all I can describe. It went from a beautiful morning to such rage. I feel my life in question as I ponder on what had just happened. Fear in the eyes of Americans are apparent. I don't know what to do. I am sitting on this bench observing. The chaos has just begun.

The lights shine around me. They appear to be dimmer than usual. I cant tell for sure whether I like it here or not... I will probably continue my travels soon. You would have liked it here it is very lively as you used to be. As I used to know you... I believe you have not changed. I see you in my dreams perhaps I will see you in reality one day, but who can ever be sure.

The long winding snake gushes over the banks. watching it, I see my life drift further and further away. I wanna travel north past this great wall of misfortune. I am sure nothing bad has come of you as I trust you.

The cold water makes contact with the tips of my toes. Boats quickly pass by causing water to ripple my way until it makes contact with this deck and surprises me with mist. The sun is slowly approaching the blue water. You would have loved it here; you always loved the water. When I look down to the water, I can see your face. If only we could have been together forever.

The crystal clear blue water looks like a swimming pool even though it is just a piece of the ocean. The waves gently crash against the sand and I can hear the whistling of the wind blowing in my ear. The sun is beating down on the white grains of sands as the sink in between my toes. Next stop the mountains maybe I'll see you there floating in the sky.

The moon shines brightly over the cool, calm water. I sit on the edge of the tide, enjoying the still, tranquil night. A slight breeze blows the tide along to the shore. I gaze out over the water, nothing appears on the dark horizon. The sand, cold and clammy, seems lifeless without the warmth of the sun. Day will soon break. Time for sleep.

I hear the sound of locals selling jewelry in the vendors shops. I hear waves crashing on the shore while Lauren and Julia play in them, screaming with delight. The sand is scorching hot underneath me, burning my feet, so I run to the water as fast as I can. I feel the cooling sensation of the cold water and I get in to join my friends.

I just ate at this wonderful BBQ place known as Rendezvous. The ribs fell off the bone and i have never tasted anything like it. I hope you can go someday you should really try it. The restaurant had a homey vibe to it.
